Why you should consider summering in Trinidad.  First Impressions and a case study.

Many cruisers who make the run south to the Caribbean every fall return home to cruise northern waters for the summer.  Others opt to take their boats south to Trinidad, safely south of the hurricane belt.

Join Bob Osborn, president of Salty Dawg and first-time visitor to Trinidad, as he shares his impression and what he is learning during the refit of his boat, Pandora, and why so many cruisers take their boats there every summer instead of making the roundtrip run back to the US.

See, first hand, the sort of work that you can expect, from simple maintenance to a major refit, from Amos, of Perfect Finish, who has done work for many other Dawgs and is in the midst of a major refit on Pandora including deck replacement and a number of other significant projects.

Bob will also be joined by Jesse James, the “go to” contact for cruisers visiting Trinidad.  He will explain why so many cruisers stay for a while to enjoy the beauty of the island including bird watching, hiking and experiencing the wonder of sea turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs.

Everyone Welcome. No Fee.
